So after staying up until the early hours proof-reading Chris's dissertation (and him having no sleep at all!) we went rushing into uni to try and get it printed and bound before 4pm. Afterwards it only seemed fair to go and celebrate in the sunshine with a drink at the Fat Fox where we ended up bumping into... pretty much everyone. That night we all went to Liquid for the last thursday of the term. Absolutely amazing night and amazing way to end the term.“Step into a world, where the city never sleeps”
So my first day diss free and I end up at work sitting in the wind and rain at Portsdown Hill. Not quite what I had in mind!! Still the view is pretty cool from up there. If you look in the picture you can see the lipstick building and if you look reeeeeeeeally closely, the Spinnaker Tower!
So I met with my supervisor today aaaaaaand... dissertation is FINISHED!! Best feeling in the world. Maybe now I can have my life back (until revision starts next week!!) On the way home I saw this parked on our road and it reminded me of Betty and Australia. Those were the days. Thinking about being back there soon is the only thing keeping me going.
Soooooo close!! After working hard all day I thought I'd treat myself to a cosy candlelit evening.
