30.4.11 Bracknell kids do Portsmouth...

After very little sleep I managed to drag myself up and get packed up to go back to Portsmouth with Frog, Josh and Ryan in tow. We met Vix off the bus in town, picked up some vodka and gin and set off home to show Portsmouth how we roll in Bracknell :p. After bumping into Tom randomly in the street (already incoherent at 5pm!) he became our entertainment for the evening; getting naked, obsessing over a non-existent quiche and attempting to rid the world of obesity (turning all pavements into treadmills in case you're wondering). All in all it was a totally legendary night with plenty of dancing in liquid, vicki on a mission, and general reunion fun. ♥ you all very much x x

29.4.11 Thorpe Park & Taboo...

So while everyone else was sat at home watching the Royal wedding, Dave and me went to Thorpe Park. I finally got on the Saw Ride (despite Dave scaring all the children in the queue) and had a lovely day. In the evening I met up with Josh and Ry at the pub and then onto Taboo which used to be Dezire which used to be Shikaras which has ALWAYS been a hole under a carpark (how do they get away with charging £6 entry?!). Every time I go in there I promise myself its the last time and yet there I was again. Anyway it's all been 'done up' and there were at LEAST 25 people in there which is a good turn out all in all and we got to have a bit of a dance so it was alright. After providing half the women in Bracknell with lipstick in the toilet I bumped into some old faces, met some cats and almost left my favourite shoes in the taxi home.

28.4.11 Psychology, Abercrombie and Zumba...

Another day trying to revise dull psych modules whilst trying to define 'classic' Abercrombie looks for Chiara over BBM. So not what I want to be doing with my life. In the evening me and Claire met up for Zumba which was much more entertaining. Easily the most fun I've ever had working out.

27.4.11 Papering over the cracks...

TRYING to revise... getting so distracted. I really need this to be over now. And by this I do mean everything. I've had enough and I'd quite like to run away again now. It's long overdue.

26.4.11 Many a road taken by many a friend...

This evening I met up with Claire, an old primary school friend that I haven't seen in about 8 years. I almost didn't make it thanks to my dad playing his usual ridiculous games but in the end we met up and had a drink in the stag and it was lovely to catch
up. I had forgotten how lovely she is - we used to have a lot of fun when we were little, digging for worms and then later, house parties at her parent's... good memories ♥

25.3.11 In the absence of light, darkness prevails...

Today was not a good day. That is all

and pray for the courage to press down”

24.4.11 Easter Day...

We all went for a walk in Windsor Great Park this afternoon which was nice although my shins made things very difficult. In the evening I went with Chiara and Jack to meet some of Chiara's friends in Wokingham and then on to Reading which was a massive fail of a night out. Highlights included Chiara waiting hours just to get served a red bull, almost getting in the way of some nutty girl in a playsuit, and a dancefloor which felt like it was going to cave in at any second. Thinking we might avoid reading from now on... :p.
