6.3.11 It's shorter by water

I love taking the ferry to and from work when the sun's out. It reminds me of Italy. I don't know why but I just really love being by the water... it makes me feel so calm and like nothing is really that bad.
Looking out over Gosport isn't quite the same as looking out over Menaggio but it's still beautiful in it's own way xx

5.3.11 Markets and memories ♥

Managed to leave for work a whole hour early today... smart. So I killed some time at Gosport market buying apples and strawberries and watching the pigeons. It reminded me of feeding the pigeons in Valencia. It's funny the little things you remember.

4.3.11 Spring is coming...

The first flowers in my garden. Apparently snowdrops symbolize new beginnings and hope because they bloom at the end of winter and announce the approach of spring.
I'd like to believe that that's true :)

A stronger soul
is breaking free"

3.3.11 A little bit of sunshine is all it takes to make me smile :)

Ever noticed how much better life seems in the sun? I was definitely born on the wrong side of the world :p
But on days like this I feel lucky to live by the sea.

I can still feel the
sunlight on my face..."

2.3.11 Tribute to my favourites

My best friends always make me smile... even if its only by buying so many frozen doner kebabs they can't fit them all in the freezer :)
And as for the best friend who bought me this necklace, I can't wait to see her on April 2nd!! ♥

1.3.11 Running by the beach

Running by the beach after a day of reading dull psychology journals is definitely a good way to clear the mind (even if it does break my shins!)

I'm going to take
these broken wings
and learn to fly

28.2.11 There's a cat in me kitchen...

After an awful day getting stressed out at the bank I came home to find a cat in the kitchen. I named him Chico :)
