5.5.11 Why do I come here seeking out memories... ♥

Nice evening down at the Manor with Frog, Josh and Ry... lots Portsmouth reminiscence and drunken emotion. It's funny how things turn out, how the paths that people's lives take can really change them and change the way you see them. And I guess at the same time how you can still be friends with someone even when they are so different from the person you fell for in the first place. Anyway we managed to fight the pressure to move on to... shikaras? Dezire? Taboo? Always a bonus

4.5.11 Zumbaaaa...

After a dull and boring day during which I could barely even stay awake... Zumba came along to lift my soul :)
“Nothing matters now I’m dancing for my life...”

3.5.11 The aftermath...

So I got woken up ridiculously early by my alarm, wen
t down for a shower and found the front door wide open and chocolate cake EVERYWHERE. On the walls... the floor... the ceiling (yes really!). To give you some idea of the destruction of it all, this picture is of Mo's bedroom. I ignored it, walked the 2 hours into work, only to find... I'm not even on shift today. Amazing. I could have stayed in bed. Not a
good day. After a pub lunch with Josh and Frog I got on the train home with them in the hope of a few days of peace and quiet at my mum's :P x

2.5.11 Mo's Regiment...

We finally celebrated Mo's birthday today so after cramming about 50 people into our house we went off to Liquid where there was lots of dancing and lots of bumming cigarettes of randoms. After Chris and Josh both got kicked out we all headed back to the boy's house for an after party until Frog got paranoid and the police turned up so it seemed like a good idea to leave...!
“Maybe we get high, maybe we get dumb,
maybe we can party all night till death comes”

1.5.11 We are your friends, you'll never be alone...

After a fun-filled morning of listening to Tom babbling incoherently and tracking down my lost blackberry, we dropped vix off at the coach station
(just) and went for lunch to discuss the night's events. Always fun. After dropping Ryan at the train station, me, Frog and Josh had a nice nap before heading back to gunwharf for dinner (hence the LUSH mezze platter above!), cocktails and Insidious. Bad move. The rest of the night was spent as a three because we were all too scared to even go downstairs alone!!

but so's another line”

30.4.11 Bracknell kids do Portsmouth...

After very little sleep I managed to drag myself up and get packed up to go back to Portsmouth with Frog, Josh and Ryan in tow. We met Vix off the bus in town, picked up some vodka and gin and set off home to show Portsmouth how we roll in Bracknell :p. After bumping into Tom randomly in the street (already incoherent at 5pm!) he became our entertainment for the evening; getting naked, obsessing over a non-existent quiche and attempting to rid the world of obesity (turning all pavements into treadmills in case you're wondering). All in all it was a totally legendary night with plenty of dancing in liquid, vicki on a mission, and general reunion fun. ♥ you all very much x x

“I left my head and my heart on the dancefloor”

29.4.11 Thorpe Park & Taboo...

So while everyone else was sat at home watching the Royal wedding, Dave and me went to Thorpe Park. I finally got on the Saw Ride (despite Dave scaring all the children in the queue) and had a lovely day. In the evening I met up with Josh and Ry at the pub and then onto Taboo which used to be Dezire which used to be Shikaras which has ALWAYS been a hole under a carpark (how do they get away with charging £6 entry?!). Every time I go in there I promise myself its the last time and yet there I was again. Anyway it's all been 'done up' and there were at LEAST 25 people in there which is a good turn out all in all and we got to have a bit of a dance so it was alright. After providing half the women in Bracknell with lipstick in the toilet I bumped into some old faces, met some cats and almost left my favourite shoes in the taxi home.
